CLUBHOUSE

club house Through a generous donation in 2003 by Keweenaw natives and long time club members Ernie and Edith Niederer, the club now owns a wooded 13 acre parcel on the Phoenix Farms Road in Keweenaw County. In 2006 the club purchased a house from Keweenaw County at the former Radar Base on Mount Horace Greeley. The house was moved to the property at 5947 Phoenix Farms Road in 2007. Renovations began and continued through 2008 resulting in a fully operational clubhouse. In 2009 a 100 yard shooting lane was cut through the woods for rifle sighting and target practice. In 2013 work continued on an Archery course along with more internal upgrades to the clubhouse. The club also envisions planting trees and food plots to support wildlife. Profits from major fund raisers such as the annual gun/knife and other accessories show and raffle along with generous donations from members have allowed the clubhouse and property improvements.

ARCHERY RANGE

Archery Target The archery loop is completed and set up with 3D full size targets. The club also received a donation of youth size bows for use at the archery range. We will be looking at expansion of our archery range in the near future.
